"Go for the moon. If you don't get it, you'll still be heading for a star." (Willis Reed)
You can look at your project in a couple of ways. You can look at the questions and just put down an answer, or you can look at the questions, discuss them with your group, and answer them with as much detail and thought as possible. Which way do you think Willis Reed would want you to do? Which way is the harder of the two ways? In the end, which of the two ways will give you the most satisfaction?
I will go over the Wiki today or Friday. There is a new password to do the updates. I will need to meet with those members of the group who are responsible for the Wiki to make sure that they know exactly what they have to do. Remember to report any technical difficulties or any problems ASAP.
Keep your team moving forward. Some of these projects look like they will be fantastic!!

we are really excelling in lots of things like ,research, decision making and getting assignments done

he would want us to do the second one you wrote the second way is the hardest thing to do but it pays off in the end and maybe in the present. today we went over vocab words and for the last 15 mineutes and during that time my team and i started working on our powerpoint
Gary
We are doing pretty well and are getting our research finished quickly. Today, we spent the majority of the time going over our vocabulary. Everythings good.
-Becca
well i think the quote meens that if u don't get what u want to can still get something.............. and we focused most on the powerpoint that u did for us and we do some reascarch but the class went by quick
I think he would want us to do the second one because that one takes the most time and effort from the whole team. Also the answer would be a really good one with a great explanation. Everything in our group is doing great. All goes well!
Even if you don't get an a you still succeeded. Today we research our questions and researched for our wiki page.Danielle also worked on the wiki page.
-Sara O'Dell
With our project we're doing a power point, as you know. We're planing to over our questions and have links to them and show pictures and videos for each slide. So each question will have a slide. Giving more detail and everything would probably be the harder one, b/c of course you have to give a lot of detail. But in the end it would give you more satisfaction and you would learn a lot more. If you just do it to do it, and just for the grade, you probably aren't going to learn anything or get anything out of it. Personaly i didn't really like the quote today. In my opinion it seemed like if you don't reach the moon, then don't try as hard. well see you tomorrow!

Willis would want us go the longer harder way because in the end it will pay off. We are doing ok in research. We are still having a lot of trouble finding out about wildlife in France but in the other things we are fine.

i think that he would want us to discuss it,which is the harder way ,but it helps most.
~Shane~
I think he would choose the second way because that way will help you succeed more in the end. The longer and harder way is also the second, but if you do it the other way, everything will turn out wrong. Our group is doing well with most things. Our questions are getting done and I also found a few pictures today.

The quote means that if we work hard we will get success, some way, some how. Our group is doing well. We worked on our Wiki today and made some great progress. We need to stay focused a little more, but overall, we're doing great.

Discuss then answer. Probablly discussing but you would rather discuss and have the right answer. Discussing because it would give you the best possible answer.

I think that Willis Reed would want to look at the questions, discuss them and then anwser them with as much thought as possible. The way I think Willis Reed would want to do it is harder. In the end the second one would give the the most statisfaction because it has alot more thought and efort than the other way you could do it.
~Katherine Duffield
Willis Reed would have wanted us to find the answer, discuss the answer, and then right the answer down. Even though this way would take much longer and be much harder, in the end, my group and I would be most satisfied with the right way. Everything in our group is going well. Danielle is back, so now there are three of us working on the project. Today Danielle and Crystal got the info on how to use the wiki page, while I started typing the answers to the questions in the way that we are going to display them on our poster. So far, we have had no problems and we hope that we won't in the future, either.

willis reed would want us to put alot of thought into our projects and really do a good job. if we work hard and put alot of thought into our project it's gonna be harder, but when we're done we'll have more satisfaction because we put our time and effort into it and it's exsactly how we want it to be not average, perfect
Mr.Ellis, I was finishing up our wiki and I wasn't sure if we were supposed to have 3 pictures for our vocab word. Are we?
-Bryce (jfgjg) Johle
I think that the quote means if you don't succeed keep trying and never give up! I also think that Willis Reed would want us to discuss what we put on our power point so that the class understands it! I personally think that explainiong it would be alot harder then just puting it on the power point and reading it because when you explain it with detail you wanna make sure that everyone understands it and everyone learns and understands things in different ways. Today in class nicole and anya worked on the power point and did Anya did a little resarch too. Ana, Stevie and I answered a few of the questions. Everything seems to be going ok but Anya and Ana can't work on the wiki so we just need to remind them that they can help with the reserch and they do! I think were doing pretty good as a team!
-Emily-
Hey! ok, so basically today we did went over vocabulary words and then we did some research and started writing down the script for our talk show, and the lyrics to our song.We are moving along really well. YAY!
Ali!~
I think that Willis Reed would want me to discuss them with my group and answer them with as much detail and thought as possible. The first way is harder because you are answering the questions by yourself. The secound way will give us more satisfaction because we will have better answers and understand them more! Karissa Hornberger
Willis Reed would want us to complete our questions the second way. The second way would be the hardest because anyone could just slop down an answer but it takes effort to come up with the best possible answer. The second way would be most satisfactory. You would probably get higher grades and since you dug deeper, you would also finish a bit wiser. Today we did some of the Wiki and more research. No problems.
I think the quote is saying that if you fail to try your hardest, you should never give up and keep trying, even if u dont make it, you still tried. Today are group did some more work. Heidi and I will be working on the Wiki page.
-Sam K
Today we mostly reviewed over our vocabulary, but we got a few done:Notes and questions were answered
--Anthony
I don't really get the quote to much but I think it means that if you try hard enough you can do what you want to in life. Today our group answered the questions.

It would be easier to just answer the questions but discussing them and detailed answers is better. The quote means that if you try hard but you still don't do good, oh well you tried anyway.
Jeremiåh Wilsøn
I think that he would have it either way.Going for the moon would really be hard cause your going for something big and difficult. The star will bring just as much as the moon will bring. Our group is going great and making good progress.
-Dominic Ginoble
I think looking at it in questions will be what Willis wants me to do. Its the hardest but my team will learn from their mistakes and it will payoff. Today my team went over things and worked hard.
